Our purpose is twofold -- to grow spiritually as followers of Jesus Christ and to live as Jesus' disciples making a difference in our homes and in our contemporary world.

Each month we will be featuring a different mission. This month’s mission is
The Butte Emergency Food Bank.
The Butte Emergency Food Bank operates with the intention that no individual or family in the community experiences the fear and pain of hunger. Each year they distribute about 1,300,000 pounds of food–canned goods; boxed and bagged food; diapers; milk; bread and bakery items; meat and more–to Butte area residents, about 2,700 people each month.
Please consider supporting our Monthly Mission Offering.
On November 22, the Montana Grizzlies and the Montana State Bobcats will face off for the Brawl of the Wild football game. On the Sunday prior to the game, November 16, we will be having our annual offering competition. Two jars will be placed on the tables behind the pews, one for each team. You decide who you want to win… the Cats or the Griz. The winner will be
announced on November 23.
All of the money raised will be donated to the Butte Food Bank. The church will also be matching the money raised up to $2,000. Come and cheer on your favorite team and donate to a great cause!
Annually, the Blackfeet United Methodist Parish accepts shoeboxes filled with gifts to support the children and families of the Blackfeet Nation in northern Montana. A flyer with more information and tags to label your shoebox are located behind the pews. Please wrap your gift and attach the appropriate tag from the flyer. Shoeboxes will be accepted through December 7. Thank you for your mission outreach!
Midweek Lipreaders
"The Midweek Lipreaders meet on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM and are studying the book "Spiritual Practices" in a twelve-week series. The book is part of the series "Knowing - Growing - Going" published by the Rose Discipleship Series and focuses on the Christian disciplines that grow our faith, strengthen us during trials, and promote communion with both God and man.
This class is based on Godly conversation fueled by “Sacramental Methodist brew.”
