John Wesley often stated, "The world is our parish". We invite everyone  to come, worship with us and grow in the love of God, self and neighbor.

Our purpose is twofold -- to grow spiritually as followers of Jesus Christ and to live as Jesus' disciples making a difference in our homes  and in our contemporary world.

Spiritual Autobiography

DISCOVERING and SHARING YOUR SPIRITUAL STORY

by Richard Peace

As modern-day pilgrims we are encouraged to explore how God is at work in our lives. This five-week class is an opportunity to discover what it means to explore how our journey takes shape in biographical form. While in a group setting, we will work through lessons, writing prompts and exercises to help us draw out memories and experiences full of purpose, strength and possibility.  This course will provide a framework for writing short stories and reflections we may choose to share with others or simply honor as meaningful stories in our hearts (and personal journal pages).

We will meet at Aldersgate UMC on Thursdays from 12 – 1 PM (September 4, 11, 18, 25 and October 2).

If you have questions or need more information, please contact Pastor Sue at pastorsuemc@gmail.com or call the church office at 406-782-2425. Books will be made available for class members to reference and share. Come with a heart full of wonder and notebook and pen in hand.

Each month we will be featuring a different mission. This month’s mission is

World Communion Sunday.

Support Future Church Leaders Through World Communion Sunday

Each World Communion Sunday, we remember our oneness in Christ and invest in leaders for tomorrow. Your offering helps fund scholarships for racial-ethnic minority students and international scholars, as well as inclusion training across the church. Give through your church or online and be part of this global impact.

We invite you to give generously and be part of this vital mission. Together, we can make a real difference.

Midweek Lipreaders

"The Midweek Lipreaders will reconvene October 1 at 10:00 AM, studying the book "Spiritual Practices" in a new twelve-week series. The book is part of the series "Knowing - Growing - Going" published by the Rose Discipleship Series and focuses on the Christian disciplines that grow our faith, strengthen us during trials, and promote communion with both God and man.

This class is based on Godly conversation fueled by “Sacramental Methodist brew.”

What We Believe:

From its beginnings with John Wesley and the Methodist circuit riders, The United Methodist Church has focused on bringing the Word of God to all of God’s children. We do this by preaching and studying God’s Word as set forth in the Bible, observing the sacraments, praising God in work and song, living in Christian fellowship, and by reaching out to all persons, no matter their age, gender, race, economic, social or other status.
